The Derrygonnelly women’s community garden is hosted in the grounds of the Field Studies Council in Derrygonnelly, Co. Fermanagh. The group meets on Wednesday mornings to garden with a garden tutor, learning how to grow fruit and vegetables. Participants take home what they grow and take part in cooking sessions with a trained chef. The garden is part of the ‘Growing Together’ programme, funded by the International Fund for Ireland to promote cross-border peace building. The garden is partnered with another women’s group in Rossinver, Co. Leitrim.
