The Lough Arrow Community Garden started in 2009 and is based at the Gyreum Ecolodge in Co. Sligo. The sloped site was a challenge to get started but a local herd of pigs were invited to get the site ready which worked a treat! The group meets on Friday mornings to plant and grow fruit and vegetables with an organic gardening tutor, provided by the Organic Centre in Leitrim and funded by the HSE.
