The St Michael’s Community Garden is run courtesy of St Michael’s Family Life centre in Sligo town and has been going since 2006. Local residents come together on Thursday afternoons to garden with a trained garden tutor, provided by the Organic Centre, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim and funded by the HSE. Participants take home what they grow and take part in cooking sessions with a trained chef.
